Privacy Policy

What data we collect

Accolade collects your email address, professional wins and accomplishments, evidence attachments, job application tracking status, and any other content you choose to add to your account.

You may also create an account or sign in using third-party authentication services, including Google and Apple. When you use these services, we receive certain information from them, such as your name and email address, in accordance with their privacy policies. We do not receive your password from these providers. You can review Google's privacy policy at google.com/policies/privacy and Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

How data is stored

All data is stored securely via Supabase and encrypted at rest. Attachments are stored in Supabase Storage with signed URLs.

AI training policy

Your data is never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. We have an explicit no-training policy with our AI provider.

Privacy by default

Accolade is private by default. Your employer has no access to your data. Every share is a deliberate, scoped, revocable act.

How to export or delete your data

You can export all your data or permanently delete your account at any time, inside the app. Choose Settings → Data & Privacy.

Payment Processing

We use Stripe, Inc. as our third-party payment processor. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information (such as credit card number and billing address) is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full payment details on our servers. We receive only limited information from Stripe, such as the last four digits of your card, your billing email, and your subscription status. Communications

By creating an Accolade account, you agree to receive the following emails from us:

Account emails (required): Magic link sign-in emails, security notifications, and account-related communications. These are necessary for the operation of your account and cannot be opted out of.

Product emails (optional): Weekly digest emails summarizing your logged wins. You can opt out of these at any time by visiting Settings → Account → Email preferences, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any digest email.

We will never send you unsolicited marketing emails or share your email address with third parties. All emails are sent from team@accolade.work.

Google Sign-In

Accolade offers Sign in with Google as an authentication option. When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the following information from Google:

Your name (first and last)
Your email address
Your Google profile picture (if available)

We use your name and email address solely to create and identify your Accolade account. We do not use Google user data for any other purpose. Your name and email address are stored in our secure database to maintain your account. We do not store your Google profile picture. We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google user data to any third parties, except as necessary to provide our service (such as our hosting provider). We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train any AI or machine learning models. User data is never used for AI training purposes. Your account data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting team@accolade.work. Accolade only requests access to your basic profile information (name and email) via Google's standard OpenID Connect scopes. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google services.
